How long does a grooming session take?

It depends on the breed, coat condition, and the service you've booked. A full groom typically takes between 1.5 to 3 hours. We never rush — your dog gets as much time as they need.

Do I need to stay during the appointment?

You're welcome to drop off and collect your pup. We'll send you a message when they're ready. Some dogs are actually calmer without their owner present!

Absolutely. Our 1:1 setup means there are no other dogs in the salon during your appointment. No loud barking, no distractions — just calm, focused attention. We take extra breaks when needed and use gentle handling techniques throughout.

How often should my dog be groomed?

Most dogs benefit from a full groom every 6–8 weeks, with a bath & tidy in between if needed. Breeds with fast-growing coats may need grooming every 4–6 weeks. We're happy to recommend a schedule that works for your dog.

What age can puppies be groomed?

We offer puppy introduction sessions from around 12 weeks old (once they've had their vaccinations). These gentle sessions help your puppy get used to the sights, sounds, and sensations of grooming.

What is Thera-Clean?

Thera-Clean is a microbubble bathing system that uses tiny oxygen-rich bubbles to deep-clean your dog's skin and coat — without any chemicals or soaps. It's brilliant for dogs with sensitive skin, allergies, or skin conditions. We're the only salon in Scotland offering it.

We use natural, gentle products tailored to your dog's skin and coat type. For dogs with sensitivities, our Thera-Clean system uses nothing but water and microbubbles.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your dog! We have everything we need here. If your dog has any specific medical needs or takes medication, please let us know in advance.
